The History Of Florida’s Space Center Is Long And Storied

In 1963, the Kennedy Space Center first lead to more rapid. The first public self-guided tours of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station were launch by NASA administrator James Webb. Through this journey, the audience was able to catch a peek at the futuristic world of space technology. A $2 million full-scale visitor facility called Spaceport USA was construct in 1965 as the site’s popularity grew. This was one of Florida’s most well-known and often visited tourist attractions even back then. 

50th anniversary in 2020 

Kennedy Space Center in Florida served as the launch platform for many well-known space missions. This also applies to the renowned Apollo 13 mission, which will mark its 50th anniversary in 2020.
