There are barely three months to go before Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Is it really true? Soon, it will be here! If you’re visiting Walt Disney World in 2021, what better way to see the Kingdom than by taking my vintage tour? Itinerary for a single day that focuses on what visitors might enjoy on the first day of operation, October 1, 1971.
A peaceful day at Magical trip planner including all the nostalgia and excitement of Disney’s classics is easy if you follow our guide. The greatest outcomes and shortest wait times may be achieved if you arrive at the park at opening and follow my recommended itinerary. PETER PAN’S FLIGHT (in Fantasyland):
What a great way to start the day at a classic site with a Magical trip planner! Being the first on this famous roller coaster can help you avoid the huge lines that may often form for this ride. While Peter Pan’s Flight is a thrilling dark ride, it isn’t frightening, making it appropriate for guests of all ages.

HAUNTED MANSION (In Liberty Square)

This dark ride has a “mildly terrifying” Scare Factor since all of the ghosts are nice, although some of the younger tourists may be frightened by the experience! TOMORROWLAND SPEEDWAY (In Tomorrow Land)
Drivers, ignite your engines now… The Speedway (formerly referred to as the Grand Prix Raceway on the opening day of the park) is a must-see attraction in Tomorrow land! Visiting before 10:00 a.m. Magical Trip coupon code will offer you an edge over the lengthy mid-day waits and milder temperatures than the afternoon.
As long as you’re at least 54″ tall and have a passenger at least 32″ tall, you may take the wheel of a racing vehicle at speeds up to 7.5 miles per hour.
4 MAD TEA PARTY (In Fantasyland)
This is the ideal time of day to hit the teacups since it’s just outside the Speedway’s exit! To give your teacup an additional whirl, turn the wheel in the middle of your ride vehicle.
PRINCE CHARMING REGAL CARROUSEL (In Fantasyland)
The carousel’s history doesn’t only begin on the day it opened in 1971! The ride was initially constructed in 1917 for a Detroit, Michigan, theme park. In the meanwhile, it was relocated to a New Jersey amusement park and operated there until making its way to Walt Disney World!
The World Of Fantasy Is A Small One
You’ll never forget this journey because of the catchy music! Take note of all the loose coins that park visitors have thrown into the river as you drift about in your globe-trotting boat. Approximately $20,000 is taken out of the attraction each year and given to charity.
Frontier Land’s PECOS BILL’S TALL TALE INN
Time for a meal! The delicious Mexican cuisine at Pecos Bill’s has been on the menu for over 50 years! The convenience of making your mobile order in advance in 2021 will allow you to make a fast and simple pit stop during your lunch break.
Main Street U.S.A.’S Dapper Dans And #9 The Emporium
Head back to Main Street, U.S.A. for a Dapper Dan barbershop quartet performance and a trip to The Emporium for some souvenirs as the afternoon crowds begin to swell. Stop by Main Street a couple times each hour to get a glimpse of the character cavalcades!
At the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventure land, you can have the citrus swirl snack.
It’s the original Magic Kingdom snack from 1971, and it’s still available today! Frozen orange juice and soft serve vanilla ice cream come together perfectly in the Citrus Swirl. The ideal snack for a sunny day spent relaxing in the park.
The TREEHOUSE OF THE SWISS FAMILY
In the Swiss Family Treehouse, a recreation of the treehouse from the Swiss Family Robinson film, you may stroll inside and climb through. Keep in mind that steps and rope bridges are bringing you through this attraction. FACT: There are 330,000 fake leaves on the tree! You’ll like the shade they give while you’re spending the day at the park.
Enchanted Tyke Room At Walt Disney World Resort (Adventure Land)
Enchanted Tyke Room, formerly Tropical Serenade, is a comedy and music performance featuring animatronic macaw parrots Jose, Fritz, Michael, and Pierre. They are a crowd favourite! The show is just 15 and a half minutes long, so sit in for a refreshing break in the heat.
Finally
Even though Fantasy in the Sky has undergone several changes over the last 50 years, you can’t leave the Magical trip planning Kingdom without seeing Happily Ever After (which begins July 1st!)
Relax in the Castle Hub area, where you’ll be able to take in a stunning display of fireworks and marvel at the incredible change that Walt Disney World has undergone in the previous half-century!
